Programs will be available beginning on the day listed and held for the week for pick up during regular hours. If you are unable to pick up your kits by the end of the week, please cancel your registration online or by calling an ACPL location.

Request multiple kits by using the "Add More People" option during registration. You will receive one kit for each person registered.

The center of the design forms an iris — a shape reminiscent of the iris diaphragm of a camera lens. Iris folding originated in 20th-century Holland, where early craft people made their designs using patterned paper cut from the inside of envelopes.

Kit Includes:

  • 4 sheets of origami paper (each a different design/color)
  • 2 copies of Iris templates (oval)
  • Clear tape
  • 5" x 7" piece of cardstock
  • Blank card with envelope

You Will Need:

  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Glue
