Create your own part of the Pokemon world and the Pokemon that live there based on real regions of the world.
By registering for this take-home program, you are reserving one or more kits for pick up at the Main Library. Programs will available beginning on the day listed and held for the week for pick up during regular hours. If you are unable to pick up your kits by the end of the week, please cancel your registration online or by calling an ACPL location.
Request multiple kits by using the "Add More People" option during registration. You will receive one kit for each person registered.
Create your own part of the Pokemon world and the Pokemon that live there based on real regions of the world. What area of the world is your region based off? What is the climate of your Pokémon region? Is it a tropical like Alola or cold and snowy like Sinnoh? Who is your Pokémon Professor? Every professor is named after a type of tree. Do you have a favorite tree OR is there a tree that is common in your geographical region? What animals live in the real world location that can inspire your region’s starter Pokémon?

You will need:
Pencils, pens, coloring pencil
Encyclopedia, atlas or travel guide
The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
