This engineering STEM activity is an easy and inexpensive way to build a slingshot straw rocket. You can modify or improve your rocket design by using different material you think will work better. You will need to adjust the weight, drag, momentum, and the stability in order for your rocket to travel longer distances. This science activity is related to momentum, drag and stability.
Supply List:
- Masking Tape
- Scissors
- Card stock or index cards
- Pencil Erasers
- Large or Small Straws
- Paper Clips
- Large Rubber Bands
- Craft Sticks (4.5 inch or larger)
