This program is for teens (grade 6-12). Register to pick up this take home program kit at the Woodburn Branch.
By registering for this take-home program, you are reserving one or more kits for pick up at the Woodburn Branch. Programs will available beginning on the day listed and held for the week for pick up during regular hours. If you are unable to pick up your kits, please cancel your registration online or by calling an ACPL location.
Request multiple kits by using the "Add More People" option during registration.
Orizomegami is the Japanese art of decorating papers by folding and dipping them into natural dyes. By folding the paper in a variety of ways, patterns emerge which are reminiscent of stained windows and depending on the number and placement of the folds, you can create more complex patterns. This program is intended for Teens.
Kit Includes:
- Rice paper sheets
- Food coloring dye

This program is part of our SPARK Summer Learning Program and is funded by the Foellinger Foundation, the Friends of the Allen County Public Library, and the Allen County Public Library Foundation.
The Woodburn branch is located across the street from a John Deere store, within easy walking distance of the Lutheran Elementary school and the park. The library’s unique hours are specialized to best serve the surrounding town and country-dwellers.
