Join us on Tuesday, July 7th at 2:30 p.m. EDT for a FREE program on Scots-Irish family history.

More than eight million Americans are estimated to have Scots-Irish roots (probably a low estimate). Their ancestors came from northern Ireland and settled in America, mainly in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Finding their exact place of origin in Ireland can be challenging as is the task of doing any Irish research in eighteenth century records. This talk will examine record sources in Ireland that can assist in locating these ancestors and provide strategies for successful research. Presented by: John Beatty
