The makerspace lab at the main library is open to anyone wanting to use it for tinkering, collaborating or creating new or modifying existing projects. Lab help is available if needed for the users.
The makerspace lab at the main branch is open to anyone wanting to use the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Epson Scanner, Cameo Silhouette vinyl cutter, VHS to DVD converting, 3D printers, FL studio, Garage band software on a Mac desktop in the recording booth, Arduino and much more. Come in and see what's available to get your next project off the ground. You can tinker, collaborate, and or create your project in our lab. Lab help is available if needed for the users. Ages 6 to 14 will need parental supervision the entire time in the lab. Bring your library card and another form of ID with you if you want to reserve the sound booth or make a reservation to use a computer.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
