Learn to hand sew simple stitches and create simple projects
Join us to learn some basic hand-sewing stitches and the time to work on a small sewing project of your very own.
Space is limited, so please register for all programs online, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling any library location. Registration opens 1 month prior to each event.
From the Maker Lab rules:
1. Please arrive promptly. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you will need to reschedule.
2. No open footwear such as sandals or flip-flops.
3. No loose or dangling scarves, jewelry, ribbons, or long hair.
4. Parents of children under 12 must be present the entire time.

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service Studio with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
