Birds of prey might be powerful, but they need our help to protect their habitats. Meet some amazing birds up close, learn about their habits and characteristics, and conservation.
Have a beak-to-nose educational experience with Soarin’ Hawk’s winged ambassadors . Meet the different raptors found in Indiana, a hawk, a falcon, an owl or even an eagle. Learn about the important role these birds play in our environment. Also, learn about the Raptor Center and its important role in protecting raptors and the world we share.

Space is limited, so please register for all programs online, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling any library location. Registration opens 2 weeks prior to each event. Please call your local branch for group/guest registrations larger than five people.
The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
