This is a two part workshop that will focus on providing an introduction to portrait drawing for beginners using a model.
Topics will include: proportion, anatomy, shading, structure, features, from and drawing a model in different positions. Your instructor is Trevor Rush, a Fort Wayne native. Trevor is an alumnus of the University of St. Francis where he studied art. He is particularly interested in 17th century European artwork.. Registration is required and all materials will be supplied.
Space may be limited, so please register for all programs online, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling any library location. Registration opens 2 weeks prior to each event. Please call your local branch for group/guest registrations larger than five people.
The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
