Hands on science labs about space that you will be able to eat when you are done!
Ever wanted to learn more about the constellations? Wonder which ones you can see in the summer sky? Come join us for space edibles! We will be learning about many of the different constellations and then building constellations that you will be able to eat when you are done! We will also take a look at the Mars rover space vehicle, learn how it helps scientists collect data, and then try building our own!
SPARK Summer Learning is generously supported by the Foellinger Foundation, Friends of the Allen County Public Library, and the Allen County Public Library Foundation.
Space is limited, so please register for all programs online, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling any library location. Registration opens 2 weeks prior to each event. Please call your local branch for group/guest registrations larger than five people.
The New Haven branch received a brand new building in 2004, relocating from its old location on the corner of Ann St. and Main St. The library is surrounded by houses and is within walking distance of four schools. The library houses many of the previous years of the New Haven High School yearbooks and many books and primary resources on New Haven history. Special collection: Board games
