T'ai Chi is a mind-body practice that originated in China as a martial art and has value in treating or preventing several medical conditions including: arthritis, low bone density, heart disease, hypertension, sleep problems, and Fibromyalgia. Read more about the benefits of T'ai Chi at your local library and sign up for free classes offered at the New Haven, Main, and Little Turtle locations.? We are excited to host Liz Monnier of the Fort Wayne Dance Collective who will lead these all-level classes. With its low-impact, slow-motion exercises, T'ai Chi can be easily adapted for anyone at any skill level.

The Little Turtle branch was named after Miami chief Little Turtle, who was born near Ft. Wayne. The Little Turtle branch is home to unique circulating collections, including puzzles and games, and the ACPL Seed Library.
