Learn how to use binoculars and a birding app, and also how to identify birds in their habitat by their call. The presentation includes: perching birds, land birds, familiar hawks, and whatever else we can observe locally.??Then learn how you can help protect land by participating in ACRES' week long Bird Blitz.? Backyard and beginning birders of all ages are welcome.?ACRES Land Trust is a member-based nonprofit protecting land and preserving natural areas for good. Together with their members, ACRES serves families and communities in northeast Indiana, southern Michigan and northwest Ohio.
Space may be limited, so please register for all programs online, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling any library location. Registration opens 2 weeks prior to each event. Please call your local branch for group/guest registrations larger than five people.
The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
