In Focus on Film: ACPL Teen Film Festival, we will work together to create short films to enter into the Teen Film Festival later in the year.
Participants are encouraged to have an idea in mind for the type of film they want to create. We will work together to work on writing, discuss shooting techniques and shot blocking, and maybe even do some editing. The ACPL Teen Film Festival is an event held once a year where local teens submit short films. A film board scores the films based on a number of criteria. There will be a viewing party and awards ceremony in the fall. All submitted films are shown and discussed, and the winners are given entry into the Hobnobben Film Festival at the Fort Wayne Cinema Center. Registration is required, and we are limited to eight participants. Participants should have access to a phone or camera with which they can film their pieces.
Space may be limited, so please register for all programs online, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling any library location. Registration opens 2 weeks prior to each event. Please call your local branch for group/guest registrations larger than five people.
