What is an essential oil? Why do they work & how are they used? Experience some amazing scents as our presenter answers these questions and leads you in a making a DIY item to take home with you!

This program covers basic essential oils information, offers a Q&A session, and ends with a make-and-take, scent-filled craft.

SPARK Summer Learning is generously supported by the Foellinger Foundation, Friends of the Allen County Public Library, and the Allen County Public Library Foundation.

Space is limited, so please register for all programs online, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling any library location. Registration opens 2 weeks prior to each event. Please call your local branch for group/guest registrations larger than five people.

About the library

The Tecumseh branch has been on State Blvd. since 1928, and is a favorite walking destination for the surrounding neighborhoods.  
Parents and children can play and learn together in the colorful Early Literacy active play center, located in the children’s area of this branch
