Holographic Snowflake Suncatchers

Intermediate Heat Pressing

Already familiar with the Cricut Autopress? Up your skills by learning to how to heat press Perler Beads!

Visit the Studio at [dept/branch] to learn this fun intermediate heat-pressing technique! In this program, you will create snowflakes using Perler Beads. First, you will create 2 identical snowflakes. After assembling and fusing the beads using the Cricut Autopress, you will glue a sheet of opalescent cellophane in between the snowflakes. This will create an eye-catching holographic effect!

This program was designed for 7th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.  Limited to [15] participants.
