Come to the Studio at Hessen Cassel to learn about designing 3D Models on TinkerCAD Software, using 3D Slicer Software, and printing on a 3D printer. Participants will create a winter-inspired bobble head character 3D model in TinkerCAD and learn how to program settings for it to 3D printer using Prusa Slicer software. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended for attendees of this program. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
