Come to the Studio at Hessen Cassel to learn new skills on the Cricut in order to create your own custom winter journal using the Cricut Maker 3 and Cricut Design Space. We will use the Cricut to cut colored cardstock into multiple layers of a single winter-themed image that will become the cover of our journal. We will then bind our cover with pages of blank multi-media paper to create a finished journal. We will also explore many creative ways to use your winter journal: for reflection, observation, creative writing, sketching, or painting. Participation in an Intro to Electric Cutting program or previous experience with Cricut Makers and Cricut Design Space is highly recommended prior to attending this intermediate program. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
