Grades 7-12: Never fear! Stain Busters are here! Learn to treat and remove common household stains, from cranberry juice to sharpie ink, with hands-on practice!

Why do some things get rid of stains while others don't? What's the best way to get grease out of a carpet? Cranberry juice out of a beloved t-shirt? Coffee out of a sweater?

Every day, we come in contact with so many substances that can stain our skin, clothes, belongings, and surroundings. Life is messy, but we can't live in fear of pizza sauce, mud, and permanent markers though! Almost every stain has a fix!

Explore common, everyday stains and their DIY solutions. Using simple household solvents, you can remove almost anything. No expensive or store-bought treatments required! Participants will do hands-on experimenting to learn the best ways to treat fresh stains and leave with detailed handouts that will keep the information close at hand in the home.

All supplies provided.

This program is intended for teens. Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we'd love to help.
