Scrape Painting

Want to make creative and colorful art? Join us for scrape painting, where every piece is unique and one-of-a-kind. No experience needed!

Scrape painting is a simple form of process art, where the emphasis is on artistic experimentation and letting go. Through process art, children and adults alike are encouraged to create their own unique works without any set expectations or guidelines. In this program, patrons will be able to explore the mixing and layering of colors through scrape painting and create wonderful abstract pieces using acrylic paint and various tools for scraping paint. Acrylic paint does not easily wash out of clothing, so expect to get messy!
