Jan Aldridge Clark, harp

Please join us for a little music on a Sunday afternoon. Featuring Jan Aldridge Clark harpist and friends.

Experience the magic of the harp like never before! This concert blends the lush, classical elegance of the harp with jazz and pop standards, backed up by local jazz musicians.  

Harpist Jan Aldridge-Clark received her B.M degree in Piano and Harp from The Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, and M.M. in Jazz from California State University Los Angeles. She was a Fellow at The Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California. Jan has performed weddings and private events for Sylvester Stallone, Tony Danza, John Mellencamp, Henry Kissinger, and many other high profile clients. In addition to performing classical music, she also plays jazz, latin, and Classic Rock. A passionate teacher, she owns and runs The Broad Ripple Piano and Harp Studio. In 2020 she started livestreaming “Live from my Living Room” concerts every two weeks and developed a series of online jazz webinars for harpists. During this year she became technologically proficient. 
In non-pandemic years Jan performs jazz at the Kensington and Chelsea Library Theatre in Kensington, London and Espáce in Paris, France in addition to being an ardent Busker.
