Design and 3D print your own dinosaur egg that has a secret compartment inside!
Come to the Studio at Georgetown and design and print a dinosaur egg! Learn how to use the 3d modeling program Tinkercad to add a secret compartment to your egg, then slice and print it using Prusa slicer and our Prusa MK4S 3d printers! Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service Studio with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
