Learn how to use the Ozobot Evo! Patrons will solve various engineering challenges while constructing an obstacle course using blockly editor.
The Ozobot Evo is a line-following mini robot that you can program in one of two ways: 1) by using colored markers, or 2) by utilizing block coding from a computer. In this program you will be introduced to the hardware and robotic components of the Ozobot Evo. Learners will solve various engineering challenges while constructing anobstacle course for Ozobot Evo mini robots using the blockly editor.Program is limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
