Grades 7-12: Get inspired by the time of the dinosaurs and create your own Cretaceous-period-themed coaster while learning to needle felt!
Needle felting is a creative, hands-on craft that turns soft, colorful wool into something totally unique! Using special felting needles and a bit of patience, you’ll learn the basics of needle felting step by step. By the end of the program, you’ll make your own felted coaster that’s sturdy, absorbent, and perfect to keep or gift. No experience needed; come ready to create and leave with a new skill you can use for future projects!
All supplies provided.

The Woodburn branch is located across the street from a John Deere store, within easy walking distance of the Lutheran Elementary school and the park. The library’s unique hours are specialized to best serve the surrounding town and country-dwellers.
