Looking to make your own print design? Join us to learn and make your own foam block prints!

Through this program, children will learn about printmaking and block printing. They will learn the history of early printmaking, its origins in Asia, and the styles and techniques used across Asian cultures. For this program, we will use foam, cardboard, pencils, and paint to create simple yet fun block-print designs. Dress to get messy!

This program is intended for 4th-6th grade. Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.

About the library

The Little Turtle branch was named after Miami chief Little Turtle, who was born near Ft. Wayne. The Little Turtle branch is home to unique circulating collections, including puzzles and games, and the ACPL Seed Library.
