Combining Gelli Plate printing techniques with inspiration from Romare Bearden’s art, we’re creating our own improvisational art pieces!

African American artist, Romare Bearden combined images, colors, shapes, and themes to create amazing collage works of art. Let’s learn about what made his art so remarkable and create some personal, improvisational art ourselves!
