An Aging and In-Home Services of Northeast Indiana presentation

Denise Hughes will present an overview of dementia and dementia types, symptoms, and phases.  She will review what may be involved in diagnosis and possible medications, as well as how to communicate with someone living with dementia.  She'll also provide resources for caregivers, covering safety issues and caregiver support.

About the library

The Little Turtle branch was named after Miami chief Little Turtle, who was born near Ft. Wayne. The Little Turtle branch is home to unique circulating collections, including puzzles and games, and the ACPL Seed Library.
