Kate’s engaging presentations blend historical context, technical expertise, and humor. She discovered her passion for teaching during her cancer journey and is dedicated to addressing historical injustices and dispelling myths.

A sought-after speaker, Kate has presented at RootsTech, the East Coast Genetic Genealogy Conference, the International Congress on Medieval Studies, and NAAP/RTK's Untangling Our Roots. Her 2025 schedule includes RootsTech, Strathclyde Institute, IAJGS, NERGC, and various state and local genealogy societies.

Kate holds a Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary and has served as a pastor in Fort Wayne since 2012.
