Kate Penney Howard is a genetic genealogist and speaker specializing in endogamy and solving complex cases with DNA. With decades of experience and hundreds of successful cases, she helps clients uncover ancestral mysteries, gain medical insights, and strengthen their sense of identity.

Kate’s engaging presentations blend historical context, technical expertise, and humor. She discovered her passion for teaching during her cancer journey and is dedicated to addressing historical injustices and dispelling myths.

A sought-after speaker, Kate has presented at RootsTech, the East Coast Genetic Genealogy Conference, the International Congress on Medieval Studies, and NAAP/RTK's Untangling Our Roots. Her 2025 schedule includes RootsTech, Strathclyde Institute, IAJGS, NERGC, and various state and local genealogy societies.

Kate holds a Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary and has served as a pastor in Fort Wayne since 2012.
