Join us for Lincoln at the Library presented by Lee D. Eutsey on April 16 at 2pm. The program is offered both virtually and streamed in-person at the ACPL Main downtown location in Meeting Room B.
Join us for Lincoln at the Library: Lincoln Postmortem: Abraham Lincoln's Cranial Autopsy and the Mystery of his Illustrious Brain. At noon on April 15, 1865, Army surgeons performed a cranial autopsy on the slain President Abraham Lincoln in a private White House bedroom. They extracted the assassin’s lead bullet from his martyred brain, yet the ultimate fate of Lincoln’s autopsied brain remains an enduring mystery—one that has gone unanswered for more than a century and a half. Join Lee D. Eutsey as he presents his original research and insights into this overlooked yet fascinating true story: the mystery of Abraham Lincoln’s missing brain.
