Celebrate light, color, and nature with a suncatcher!

Make suncatchers using flower petals (or leaves and other goodies from nature), tissue paper, clear contact paper, mason jar rings, and twine while learning about pigments and light.

This program is intended for children and their accompanying adults. Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.

About the library

The Tecumseh branch has been on State Blvd. since 1928, and is a favorite walking destination for the surrounding neighborhoods.  
Parents and children can play and learn together in the colorful Early Literacy active play center, located in the children’s area of this branch
