Learn to make a traditional Filipino Parol, a Philippines tradition that symbolizes hope and goodwill.
Come to the library and learn to make a Filipino Parol, a Philippines tradition. Traditionally crafted out bamboo, the star-shaped, ornamental parol is said to encourage hope and goodwill. Historically, Filipino parol’s were illuminated with candles, but these are going to be left hanging it in a window and letting natural light shine though.
