Grades 7-12: Celebrate Women's History Month by learning about toys and games invented by women and making your own toy or game.
You may know that Barbie was created by a woman, but did you know that women also created Shrinky Dinks, Jenga, Candy Land, and Skip-Bo? Learn about what inspired these women to create their toys and games, and then use a variety of supplies to create your own.
This program is intended for teens. Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
