Grades 9-12: It's planting time! Create and decorate an herb garden using recycled materials!
Using a recycled base, participants will plant a variety of herbs and decorate the outside of their planter using paint and other fun crafting materials. Participants will receive tips on caring for their gardens, as well as a list of delicious recipes that utilizes the herbs!

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
