Perfect for beginners, this hands-on workshop will introduce children to three basic crochet stitches needed to make their very own colorful granny square.
Calling all kids curious about crochet! In this beginner workshop, we will learn to use basic stitches to create crochet granny squares. Techniques taught include casting on to the crochet hook, chain stitch, double crochet stitch, slip stitch, and finishing off work.

The New Haven branch received a brand new building in 2004, relocating from its old location on the corner of Ann St. and Main St. The library is surrounded by houses and is within walking distance of four schools.
