Grades 7-12: Learn how you can practice self-care and support your mental well-being.

Escape the cold and visit your local library to experience the warm, coziness of hygge! Hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) is a way of relaxing and unwinding in the winter months in Denmark. Spend an hour quietly reading, coloring, puzzling, or playing a board game. Cocoa, tea, and snacks will be provided.

Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.

About the library

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
