An introductory workshop to learn how to use the Maker Lab's 3D Scanner.
Have you ever wanted to replicate a physical object? Or desired to have a spare part on hand, but it is long since out of production? With 3D scanning technology this and more is possible! Bring in and scan your own object into a physical 3D object and then print your replicated object on a 3D printer. Your object must be smaller 5Hx6Wx6L. All materials provided. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
