Unleash Your Creativity with the Yellow Frame Project!
Hey there, budding artists! Are you ready to dive into the splendor of winter? Join us for a special family story-time where we'll explore the magic of wintertime through the book A Song for All Seasons by Margaret Wise Brown.
After we read together, it's your time to shine! Grab your pencils, colored pencils, or crayons and get creative on an 8x10 poster board or drawing paper. Think circles for snowmen, triangles for trees, and diamonds for snowflakes —what shapes will you use to bring a winter scene to life?
Here's why you should join in: The ACPL and the Yellow Frame Project are teaming up to showcase your artistic talents to the whole community! We'll provide all the art supplies you need, plus plenty of tips and tricks from local artists. Together, we'll create masterpieces that will be displayed in bright yellow frames at the library for everyone to admire and celebrate.
And guess what? There's more in it for you:
This event is coordinated by ACPL and YFP Project Facilitator Cynthia Gabbard.
Get ready to create, inspire, and shine like the stars you are! 🌟
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
