Art for children and their adults.
Hey there, budding artists! Are you ready to dive into a world of shapes and colors? Join us for a special family story-time where we'll explore the magic of fall shapes through the book Pick a Circle: Gather Squares, A Fall Harvest of Shapes by Felicia Chernesky.
After we read together, it's your time to shine! Grab your pencils, colored pencils, or crayons and get creative on an 8x10 poster board or drawing paper. Think jack-o-lanterns, scarecrows, and trees—what shapes will you use to bring them to life?
Here's why you should join in: The ACPL and the Yellow Frame Project are teaming up to showcase your artistic talents to the whole community! We'll provide all the art supplies you need, plus plenty of tips and tricks from local artists. Together, we'll create masterpieces that will be displayed in bright yellow frames at the library for everyone to admire and celebrate.
And guess what? There's more in it for you:
