Craft your own capybara 3D paper craft using the maker lab's Cricut Maker machine!
Come to the Maker Lab at the Pontiac Library to assemble and take home your very own 3D papercraft using intermediate Cricut Maker Techniques! Learn how to change and use different Cricut Maker accessories like the scoring and pen tools, and adjust the settings in Cricut Design Space best for papercrafting. Assemble you paper capybara with the provided supplies! Participation in one of ACPL's Cricut Maker Introduction programs is highly recommended, though not required, prior to attending this intermediate program. All supplies provided. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
