Grades 7-12: Alebrijes are fantastical animal sculptures invented in 1940s Mexico by Pedro Linares. Learn about these amazing artworks, and create your own mini-Alebrije!
Alebrijes are colorful creatures. We'll draw a vision for our alebrije, sculpt them from air dry clay, then decorate them with dots or other patterns.
Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
