Launch your broadcasting adventure on a real FM radio station with this introduction to Community Radio 95.7FM WELT training class.
The two-hour training class for new DJs and Producers at WELT will equip participants with essential knowledge and skills. This is required training for anyone who wants to produce or host their own show on Community Radio 95.7FM WELT. The program will include an overview of FCC rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and understanding of broadcasting standards. It will then delve into ACPL and WELT station policies, emphasizing adherence to guidelines and fostering a safe and inclusive broadcasting environment. Following this, the class will provide hands-on training on studio equipment and audio production techniques, enabling participants to confidently navigate the station's setup and produce high-quality content. The session will be facilitated by John O'Rourke and Otto Boschet , ensuring a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
