Come join us at the library and create a ghoulish piece of art just in time for Halloween.
Have you seen the Thrift Store Ghost Art craze? Have you been wanting to give it a try? Join us at ACPL on October 19th at the Pontiac Branch when we will try our hand at creating shuddersome, hair-raising art! Bring your own piece you've been wanting to convert or choose from several prints we have available to spawn a spooktacular creation. We hope to see you there.
Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we'd love to help.
Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
