Join up with a virtual community of fiction writers to help improve your craft, workshop your stories, and share in a love for creative writing!
Do you enjoy stories? Do you enjoy writing stories of your own and sharing them with others? If you answered yes to either of these, then ACPL’s Virtual Writer’s Forum is for you! Please join us on the third Wednesday of each month to speak with others who share a passion for fiction writing and story-telling. Whether you enjoy writing fantasy, dystopian, classic literature, or storybooks for younger readers, you’re welcome here! Participants are encouraged to provide feedback on the writings of other members and to share writing of their own, but not required. We realize that the muse can be fickle and unruly, so please come even if you don’t have anything to share and just need to be inspired. If time permits, the group will write on a short prompt at the end of the meeting, so you may come away with something written even if you arrive empty-handed!
If you have writing to share and read aloud, please send your work ahead of time so that others can read along. ACPL staff will compile submissions for screen sharing purposes.
All submitted and read content must follow ACPL’s Code of Conduct: Patron Behavior Policy
Please contact the host or cohost if you are unsure whether or not the content of your work is acceptable.
