Craft your own capybara 3D paper craft using the maker lab's Cricut Maker 3 machine!
Come to the Maker Lab at the Main Library to assemble and take home your very own 3D papercraft using intermediate Cricut Maker Techniques! Learn how to change and use different Cricut Maker accessories like the scoring and pen tools, and adjust the settings in Cricut Design Space best for papercrafting. Assemble you paper capybara with the provided supplies! Participation in one of ACPL's Cricut Maker intro programs is highly recommended, though not required, prior to attending this intermediate program. All supplies provided. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
