We will go over the basics of 3D printing and take you through the process from digital design to finished 3D charm with your name on it.
Come to the Maker Lab at the Main Library to learn about designing 3D Models on TinkerCAD design software, using 3D Slicer Software, and printing on a 3D printer. Participants will create a custom 3D name charm online in TinkerCAD, and the be able to print it out on the Maker Lab's 3D printer. All supplies provided. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
