Chair Yoga

Certified exercise physiologist Mary Newell will lead a us in gentle chair exercises and breathing techniques as well as fall prevention tips and exercises.

Chair exercise is a gentle form that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support.

Participants will practice and learn the benefits of gentle chair exercise, which include improved flexibility, concentration, and balance. They will also receive general wellness tips that they will be able to apply in their daily lives.

This 4-week series is scheduled at the Aboite branch on September 5, 12, 19, and 26.  For each date you plan to attend, please submit a separate registration.  Attendance at all 4 sessions is not required.
