Trade your small screen for the big screen and enjoy a night out watching a film together in the community. All movies will be rated G, PG, or PG-13. FREE!  We ask that kids under 13 be accompanied by an adult. Doors open at 5:30pm with cartoons shown before the feature flick. 

Space is limited. Register to receive event reminders.  Accessibility needs? Our theater offers wheelchair seating and assistive listening devices.  Please contact ask@acpl.info if you have additional needs - we’d love to help. 

THE GARFIELD MOVIE: Garfield (voiced by Chris Pratt), the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father - scruffy street cat Vic (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) - Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.

About the library

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking in Library lots costs $1/hour with a $7 daily max. ACPL patrons receive the first 3 hours of parking for free.
