Kate Huffman is a professional genealogist and certified historic interpretive guide. She received her BA in anthropology from the University of Missouri and a professional certificate in genealogical research from Boston University. Kate is Public Relations Director for the Missouri State Genealogical Association and serves as Secretary of the National Genealogical Society Delegate Council Steering Committee. Though many branches of her family are more recent immigrants, her Missouri roots can be traced to before the Louisiana Purchase.
