If you are in grades 4-6, this program is just for you! Set sail on a journey of imagination and creativity with the wonder of maps.
Transform into a cartographer by learning the secrets of mapmaking, from drawing basic shapes to using symbols and legends. Unleash your creativity and design a map of your dreamland, a fantastical kingdom, or even your own neighborhood. Mapmaking promotes spatial awareness, problem-solving skills, and creativity. No prior experience is necessary, just a sprinkle of imagination and a thirst for adventure! For grades 4-6.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
