Design the cover of your own Adventure Journal with vinyl. Learn about designing and uploading designs in Cricut Design Space, and using the Cricut Maker 3.
Come to the Maker Lab at the Pontiac Library to learn about designing and uploading designs in Cricut Design Space, and using the Cricut Maker 3. Participants will learn about the many different materials that the Cricut Maker 3 can cut including paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric, chipboard, and craft foam. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended.Participants will leave with an Adventure Journal featuring covers crafted using vinyl with the opportunity to customize your design. All supplies provided. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
