Design the cover of your own Adventure Journal with vinyl. Learn about designing and uploading designs in Silhouette Studio, and using the Silhouette Cameo 4 Plus.
Come to the Maker Lab at the Georgetown Library to learn about designing and uploading designs in Silhouette Studio, and using the Silhouette Cameo 4 Plus. Participants will learn about the many different materials that the Silhouette Cameo 4 Plus can cut including paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric, chipboard, and craft foam. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Participants will leave with an Adventure Journal featuring covers crafted using vinyl with the opportunity to customize your design. All supplies provided. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 6th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
